The term custom ties can be used to describe many different types of ties.
From branded ties to corporate ties and even school ties can be classed as custom ties.
I find it quite remarkable the number of descriptions or terms used for ties that are should we say not fashion-oriented.
Custom ties represent quite a special and specific breed of ties because they refer to ties that have been custom or bespoke designed for a specific event, discipline, or tradition etc, etc, etc you name it.
Custom ties take far more thought in many ways because they are generally not an expression of the designer’s true design ability but rather a result of their experience in being able to position wording, logos, icons or even parts of a logo within a tie combined with required colours whereas so far as a fashion tie is concerned, the artist or should we say specialist designer is far more able to use his or her creative ability and imagination to piece together a design that will be acceptable as far as fashion and a more retail environment is concerned.
So far as custom ties and custom scarves for that matter are concerned, we have to keep in mind that they are not designed and manufactured for the retail or fashion market, but instead, they have a much clearer intention.
This intention for the most part is that custom ties and custom scarves are manufactured specifically and fashion ties and scarves are designed and manufactured for a global market of whom some or many will appreciate the look and purchase.
The colours are not really important and for that matter, neither is the design because there will always be someone out there who appreciates the look and design of the ties and scarves.
However, when it comes to custom ties and custom scarves, there is a distinct difference in the approach to design, colours and quite frankly everything else incorporated in the design and manufacture of custom ties and custom scarves.
The design and creation of fashion ties and scarves are so totally different from that of custom ties and scarves and this is why one finds very often that a company that manufactures fashion ties and scarves does not get into the business of custom ties and scarves because they are so vastly different in the product description.
So when designing or creating custom ties and custom scarves, it is important to understand the difference especially if by nature, you are a designer that leans more towards fashion it is not always possible to let loose one’s creative flair because it just may not be the right thing to do.
Especially for example when the custom ties are for schools, universities, clubs or associations that demand or require a more traditional type of design.
In fact, it sometimes makes no sense whatsoever to set someone loose who is completely fashion-orientated on the task of designing custom ties or custom scarves because chances are that the design will not be acceptable as they simply do not or may not understand the finesse required when it comes to the design of these custom ties and custom scarves.
