School ties are one of the biggest traditions I think one can imagine, they have been around for so long and have established themselves almost as a never ending tradition and with every year that goes by in the majority of schools who’s tradition it is to have custom ties in the form of school ties, this tradition becomes even more cemented.

There are many schools who don’t have just one lot of custom ties as school ties but tens of them, in fact, I know of one school that has 63 different custom ties in the form of school ties.

These custom ties can be anything from sports ties to club ties( when I talk about club ties, I mean ties worn by individuals belonging to a certain club such as for example the 1^st team rugby players or 1^st team hockey players who even though they belong to a team actually belong to a club of people each with their own individual talent and ability that got them into this club in the first place.

So club ties are really important and don’t limit a person to belonging to any club and owning custom ties that represent one or other club, for example, it would be quite possible although possibly unlikely to belong to the first team rugby club aswell as the chess club and although this is a real stretch talking the required personalities into account, it is possible and it must be said that both teams, equally important to those belonging to them are really actually clubs to which people belong as they share a common interest.

Matric ties, even though custom ties, are also club ties as one needs to be at a certain point of their lives to belong to this club of individuals all their for a common reason- they have achieved a certain point in life for which they have gained recognition and so they are allowed to wear custom ties that promote the fact that they are part of that club of elites- the matrics who deservedly wear their custom ties made into matric ties on a daily basis to say “Look at me and what I have achieved, I belong to the Matric club and so am entitled to wear this tie”

So the wearing of specific school ties, in fact, let me rephrase that, any school ties holds in it a huge point of recognition, when wearing school ties, one understands that there is a great deal of recognition gained by wearing the school ties.

So for example, if one wears  1^st Fifteen school ties, one has earned the right too wear this particular tie and like wise, if one wears the normal school tie, it could be a striped tie without any logo, they have earned the right to wear this tie because they belong to that certain club being the school itself.

So any group could be a club one just has to belong.
