The life of a custom scarf doesn’t really differ much from the life of custom ties quite frankly. In fact, the process for printing custom scarves or corporate scarves is quite similar to that of corporate ties, club ties, branded ties, printed ties even club ties, matric ties and so the list goes on and on.

Evan fashion ties as I explained in my previous blog are also custom ties as each design is custom developed for a specific reason/ market etc.

The custom scarf or custom scarves from a corporate perspective would be known as company scarves or corporate scarves and if a person would be ordering these items they would be most likely to refer to them as corporate scarves and historically, custom ties and custom scarves go together like peached and cream. Back in the days, the ladies never got left out, nowadays unfortunately, that does tend to happen quite regularly as corporate ties in the form of custom ties are a little more popular and more widely ordered.

Also, it is important to note that a custom scarf or custom scarves are always printed, never woven as it is not possible to make a ladies scarf or custom scarf from woven fabric- why? You might well ask.

Well simply explained, the back of woven fabric is very different to the front side, the front side of woven fabric used to make woven ties contains the design and the back side of the fabric is the warp side which is not a design but rather a mish mash of yarns.

Whereas when it comes to printed ties and printed scarves for that matter, the front side of the fabric contains the design and the back side of the fabric is exactly the same as the front side of the fabric even though the design itself will be partly or non visible on the other side of the fabric. So in other words, both sides of the fabric are the same fabric just with a different look to them.

This would of course only matter for custom scarves or corporate scarves and not custom ties because in any case, one doesn’t see the other side of custom tie fabric because of the way in which the custom ties are made up, a person would not see the other side anyway unless one un picks the custom ties and then opens them up in order to see the other side of the fabric.

So generally, custom scarves and corporate scarves are made up in a couple of different sizes or dimensions those being long or square.

The client is able to choose the shape- long or square and should preferably take one of the standard size options offered by the supplier as they tend to be more economical.

Should the client require a specific size, it could work out less cost effective because it is possible that there is wastage of fabric.
