Not that important, not like its going to make a difference between the company surviving or not surviving, not like corporate ties and corporate scarves will change the outcome of any business.
Or will they? This is the question that poses so many thoughts and the reason is quite clear and simple.
In their own entirety, corporate ties and corporate scarves will make very little difference to the financial outcome of a company however, when one combines the idea of things like corporate scarves and corporate ties also known as custom scarves and custom ties together with many other things such as staff training, motivation sessions, awards, bonuses etc, one realises that as small an entity as corporate ties and corporate scarves are and for that matter, corporate jewellery, they also contribute to the overall well being and success of any organisation.
So why do I say this? Well. For many years now corporate ties and corporate scarves aswell as corporate jewellery have been given out to staff members for many reasons, these reasons being for example- staff uniform, staff incentive, staff awards, long service awards, recognition awards for various things and so the list goes on as to why a person would be given corporate ties or corporate scarves.
But the main underlying reason is mainly to say to a staff member “thankyou for your contribution, thankyou for everything you do for us, please accept this gift which is representative of our company and tells you that you are part of this company, that you belong.”
And this friends, is one of the main motivators and meanings of items such as corporate ties, corporate scarves and corporate jewellery which all signify to both the recipient and the other staff members that this person is one of us, that they belong to our organisation and that by wearing for example long service ties or corporate scarves, it signifies that not only does this person belong but they also have a chieved significantly within the organisation. I mean 25 years in an organisation especially these days is nothing short of significant.
Just as back in the day when ties or cravats were first invented by the Croats fighting as mercenaries on behalf of other countries such as France, these cravats(coming from the term Croats or Croatians) were designed or introduced to promote belonging, to advise another regiment or battalion that whoever wore the cravat was not only a Croation but they also belonged to a certain regiment or battalion fighting as a mercenary.
These cravats signified a brotherhood and definite belonging to an organisation which was proud to wear the cravat in whichever colour signified their belonging and in fact, really, all this cravat was, was a corporate tie or corporate scarf in its most basic format- no printing, no design, no words, no fancy manufacturing, no specific fabric and certainly not really an absolutely specific way of being tied but the fact is that it promoted belonging.
