Custom ties and Custom scarves are connected in so many ways.

It is not uncommon for example, for a company or institution to do corporate ties or company ties and to also do corporate scarves or custom scarves.

We also find that together with this, many companies like to do corporate jewellery to hand out to their staff or clients.

The main items for men being tie clips and cufflinks and for ladies it is normally a brooch or sometimes scarf rings for the custom scarves.

Also, quite commonly asked for items are pin badges. Pin badges seem to be gaining popularity, especially tooled pin badges which are an upmarket version of a cheaper pin badges and obviously are more expensive but well worth the additional spend.

So these three items, one could call the trinity of formal corporate accessories to the actual uniform itself.

Custom ties are by far the biggest requested neck wear items, I would estimate that  in the case of custom ties, the ratio is probably 10 to every one or two custom scarves or corporate scarves ordered.

This is probably similar to the fashion outlets who carry these types of items as it does seem that generally custom ties are still in a much higher demand to custom scarves regardless of whether they are custom ties and custom scarves made for fashion retail or for a corporate or institutional requirement.

Corporate jewellery has an even smaller demand but we are also finding for some reason the the demand is picking up.

I sometimes think to myself that it could be because people are getting tired of cheap and nasty corporate gifts and looking for something a little more up market or special to hand out.

I wouldn’t be at all surprised if this were the case as I do feel that the trend of corporate gifts is forever moving to something a little more worthwhile or visually perceived as more upmarket with a higher value attached to it.

We should also keep in mind that custom ties, custom scarves and corporate jewellery form a big part of long service gifting and many companies, especially the older and well established have chosen to keep this practice going which I whole heartedly agree with as it has a definite inspirational angel attached to it. It is really important to keep ones staff motivated and which better way to do it than by giving custom ties, custom scarves or corporate jewellery as a long service gift especially since they can be designed in such a way to acknowledge the individual years of service- 5, 10, 15, 20 and so on right up to 50 has not been uncommon and I actually think we may have done 60 year long service custom ties in the history of our company.
