When I discuss custom ties, I really mean all ties because all ties fall under the umbrella of custom ties regardless if they are corporate ties, company ties, promotional ties, club ties or whatever they are, including fashion ties.

The same goes for custom scarves or corporate scarves which also include fashion scarves.

You might as how fashion ties and scarves could be described as custom scarves but the fact is that each and every design that is printed is unique to that number of ties and so the design can quite easily be called a custom design which in turn make them custom ties and custom scarves.

So for example, matric ties which pertain to prefects ties are custom ties simply because they are manufactured for a specific group of young people destined to be leaders and entering into the training phase of this leadership course in life by being appointed as as a leader or prefect as we used to call them.

This is such a responsible position sometimes taken with the level of responsibility and sometimes not. It is the ones who don’t take their roles seriously as leaders who very often are not really leaders as they may have got there through a brother or sister previously being one or perhaps an active mother or father- yes this does happen, I have seen it with my own eyes.

So these individuals who are positioned as leaders but really arent leaders or who don’t really have the drive or personality to be a leader most often don’t end up as leaders.

However, many of these individuals do excel in one thing or another or many things within the school, whether they are disciples or academic or sports, one will normally find that leaders or prefects do excel somewhere in their lives.

They just may not excel in leadership and so, this is where school scrolls and school badges come into being. In my opinion, school scrolls tell a bigger story about the individual than a position in matric as a leader or prefect.the wearing of school scrolls and some seniors have many of them, which is a good thing in that the opportunity to excel and be recognised for it extens beyond or should I say before the individual reaches the point of being in matric and wearing matric ties.

So practically from any age in High school and senior high school for some schools, one can earn the right to wear scrolls.

This is where we find so many achievers which in my opinion add a lot more value than a leader if they are wearing two or more scrolls simply because the scrolls are clearly visible, younger students see the scrolls which in turm hopefully spurs them on to themselves achieve the right to wear some scrolls.

Scrolls are magnificent, tiny motivators that say nothing other than what they have been awarded for, they give the wearer a huge sense of price and the person seeing them something to rise up to and achieve.
