Good tie makers or tie manufacturers are not really particular about what type of ties they make. In any case, to tie makers, all ties are custom ties meaning that they are designed specifically or for a reason.
If one is at all familiar with different types of custom ties or even custom scarves which by the way are both made by tie makers or tie manufacturers, then one would know that there are many different types of ties that would fall under the generic description of custom ties.
To name but a few of these types of ties would be as follows:
Corporate ties- these are ties specifically made for companies. They would be made to either promote the company itself, the logo or the brand.
Sometimes companies make what we could call brand ties for example if a company has a product that involves teddy bears, then they may decide to make custom ties which portray teddies all over. I recall one tie we made which was for an energy drink and it had sketches of people on bicycles riding and racing them all over the place.
This would be a brand tie or could also be referred to as branded ties.
Branded ties- these are custom ties specifically made to promote a brand. The brand could be the name of the company or the name of the brand and the contact on the custom ties could be related to the brand or what the company manufactures.
Company ties- These custom ties are very much related to corporate ties except that there is a small difference. Company ties tend to be more of working tie items by this I mean that company ties would tend to be more uniform related and so would be something worn in house as opposed to corporate ties that are made to be worn in house aswell as handed out to customers or interested parties.
Corporate ties at one time were very popular and it really was a case of if a company had their own corporate ties, they had arrived.
A company could be measured by the number of corporate ties they made aswell as such things as quality, imagination, design, fabric etc.
School ties- this pretty much incorporates all types of school ties but within the term school ties, there are many different types of school ties such as stripes and logos and different themes of ties such as house ties, sports ties 1st team ties aswell as matric ties.
It is with matric ties in mind that one speaks about matric tie designs.
Clearly, this is something that people are seeking- really good matric tie designs because I understand- it’s the last year of school, the last year of a massively important time of their lives and so they would like for this to be celebrated which I understand fully- why not celebrate a milestone in one life with really well designed custom ties in the form of matric ties and for that, one needs excellent matric tie designs.
