When I talk about blazer scrolls, I specifically mean those scrolls generally embroidered for the use of schools or clubs.

So the subject is actually quite interesting because there is quite a lot in common with these two items.

Also, when I refer to custom ties, this really covers a broad spectrum of different ties including corporate ties, school ties, club ties and company ties.

So having said this, custom ties very much includes school ties which is the topic of discussion for this particular subject simply because school ties and blazer scrolls fall into a topic that unites both items, this being the traditional or formal school uniform.

One of the reasons, and there are many I must say, that school ties and blazer scrolls share a common bond stems from a word called recognition and another world called achievement.

Without a doubt, for a school going individual, it is a huge achievement to be awarded a blazer scroll or should I say blazer scrolls because most often than not, if a scholar receives one, they will receive many blazer scrolls.

There is a huge amount of recognition and achievement attached to receiving blazer scrolls and I think it is safe to say that whilst school ties are worn by everyone and don’t really represent a special achievement, there is certainly the benefit of wearing school ties that one has achieved recognition when these school ties are worn.

Recognition that stems for the wearing of school ties is really important. Not only should a scholar be proud to be recognised as belonging to a specific school, they also need to be recognised by an outsider when in uniform.

So it goes without saying then that any child who is proud to wear their school ties would also be extremely proud to wear blazer scrolls for all of their achievements.

I use the word school ties as being more than one because many schools do have more than one school tie that can be worn, especially in matric for example where very often, the scholar will receive a matric tie aswell as having a school tie.

So the other key word that we have to mention , that unites students of a specific school is pride.

This pride is very important because its one of the key things shown by achievers, it really is funny how successful school achievers generally enjoy school and many of the the less well achieved just really don’t love school and lack commitment both at the time of being at school and also when they leave school and become old boys or old girls, even though they will very often have an old boys tie or old girls scarf available to them for purchase.

So in closing, blazer scrolls and school ties are not the same thing and don’t have a huge amount in common other than carrying the general ethos of the school aswell as the huge big factor of pride!
