Branded school ties are school ties with some form of a logo or any form of identification related to the school in other words, not just plain school ties with nothing on them.

Branded school ties could also refer to school ties with stripes due to the fact that although they don’t have a logo, the stripes are enough to se these school ties apart from any other striped school ties so in essence, as I have said, they are also branded school ties.

Branded school ties are really the same as any other branded ties when one considers it except there are a few differences.

For example, school ties are manufactured by tie manufacturers specifically for schools and to be worn by their students.

It would make no sense whatsoever for anybody else to wear the school ties unless for example one might be an old boy or old girl or perhaps a parent and part of the supporters club.

These would be likely to be the only reasons why school ties would be worn by any body else other than these individuals.

Whereas, corporate ties or custom ties or company ties are often made by tie manufacturers  not primarily to be worn by staff or management but often these types of branded ties are commissioned by a company or organisation to be given away as gifts or handed out at a special occasion.

When considering this difference one must keep in mind that branded ties in the form of custom ties(in other words bespoke ties made specifically for a reason with a level of uniqueness attached to them) are a spin off of the old story of the tie and where it came from originally.

Believe it or not, ties or cravats as they were called at the time were invented by the Czechs and worn by their soldiers to distinguish one battalion from another.

I always find it quite amazing how a simple cravat of in those days a really rude formation of branded ties did qualify to be recognised as custom ties or branded ties because they were of a specific colour, hence the reason why one could easily say that they were branded.

This further lends credence to the fact that in order to  be branded ties or custom ties, they do not have to have anything else on them other than what is required for the wearer to be recognised when wearing these custom ties as a member of a specific tribe or group and by so doing one is accepted in as part of the clan simply because they can be recognised by their neckwear.

So when asking the question what are branded school ties, it is fair to assume that branded school ties are custom ties made by tie manufacturers and worn by students in order that they can identify with and be identified within their group and also outside of their group for example, another school or parents, teachers etc.
