Well the answer to this brilliant question is not definitive, it could be yes or no and perhaps contrary to what I might have written on other occasions about a similar topic.

Lets break it down a little.

What are custom ties?

 Very simply, custom ties are ties designed and manufactured with a specific or particular theme or design or pattern in mind. They are specific to the need, so that really means that if for example, the custom ties being designed and manufactured are corporate ties then the intention would then be to incorporate the logo or branding in some way into the design of the custom ties.

Like wise, if the custom ties are designed to be fashion ties for example, then a particular design or pattern will be used throughout the tie to denote the fashionability  of the tie(if that is really a word!!).

So on the basis that custom ties can be corporate ties, yes, it is possible for this to be the case and in most circumstances it is.

However, there are certain times when this is not the case and custom ties cannot be corporate ties.

For example- it is not only the design of a custom ties that makes them unique, it can also be the make up of the custom ties.

So, with this in mind, the custom ties could be a very narrow width to fulfil a fashion criteria, perhaps only a few centi metres wide as opposed to the traditional  nine centi meters which normally constitutes corporate ties width and clearly, these types of custom ties would not really fill the function of corporate ties even if the design was to be of corporate nature as they are just not practical because of the width.

However, these types of ties can definitely be classed as custom ties but certainly not custom ties.

This is only one example of why custom ties cannot always be corporate ties and there are obviously others that I could discuss but will not bore you with further detail in this regard.

There are though, many instances where custom ties can be corporate ties, this does make sense given my explanation above in that if the very same custom ties with a corporate design was to be made up with a width of 9cm, then it would most certainly also qualify as corporate ties.

Its probably not the wisest thing to dwell too much on this issue other than to say that it is really important to try and combine when designing corporate ties, the element of custom ties and by custom I mean to have a certain amount of uniqueness to them, to be different and set apart from other corporate ties.

Even if there is a fashion element in custom ties which makes them corporate ties, this is ok, its all part of the process of the design and manufacture of both custom ties and corporate ties and it’s a-Okay!!
