Corporate socks are probably the best spend a company can make

Its also a smart choice for an organization to make when it comes to handing out branded items in the hope of promoting their company name or just to say thanks to the recipient, which by the way equates to the same thing if its branded. “in other words Mr Customer, please don’t forget us, we are your suppliers and this gift is to say thank you but at the same time to keep you reminded of our name”

So when it comes to corporate socks, this is exactly what happens- why? You might ask.

Well for a number of reasons, but mainly, a pair of socks represents a monetary amount, corporate socks, provided they are well made and comfortable to wear, fill the place of an ordinary pair of fashion socks, in other words if one is given a pair of corporate socks, it negates the need to buy a pair, so in other words, one less spend.

This is one reason why they work so well.

Another reason why it is such a good idea to give out corporate socks as a gift is the novelty factor. Quite simply, very few people have ever received a pair of corporate socks as a gift.

Another reason why corporate socks work so well is because although corporate socks are quite a personal gift, they are also a really handy gift to receive and quite fun to wear!

So no matter the type of person who receives a pair of corporate socks, no matter their personalities or preferences, corporate socks will always be a successful hand out as a corporate gift to create brand or information awareness.

The logo can be positioned at the top or on the foot of corporate socks, it can also be placed on the body of a calf length corporate sock, together with wording or designs and illustrations.

Corporate socks in the form of sports socks look exactly like a normal sports sock except that replacing the sports brand will be the company logo or motto or name.

Generally corporate socks are made to high specifications although it does very much depend on the quality of the machine used to knit the corporate socks aswell as the content of the sock.

Corporate socks generally contain around 80% cotton with the balance being elastane and nylon to give the sock stretch, cotton is most important to allow breathability, although, as explained, it requires the small percentage of elastic type products to make corporate socks wearable.

So with a corporate sock, in most cases,  the look and feel aswell as performance will be very much in line with retail fashion socks.

When designing corporate socks, it is important to keep in mind that in most cases it will not be possible to exactly copy the logo in its entirety, we need in most cases to be given a little license either with regards to matching the colour exactly or getting the logo spot on, the reason for this is twofold.

Because of the way the corporate sock is knitted, being horizontally across and not down, it is often quite difficult for example to get rounded objects or logo’s 100% spot on, or wording for that matter.

However, it is always noticeable and visible and never that far off from the actual logo.

With regards to colour, it is impossible to carry every shade of yarn to match a pantone, so in most cases, the colour of the logo in the corporate sock will be extremely close to the actual logo colour but not always exact.

Corporate socks are certainly the way to go to draw attention to your company or brand for a relatively low outlay financially.
