Yes, this is a very true statement. The fact that all ties, including company ties, corporate ties and school ties are made by tie manufacturers and tie makers is correct.
The reason for this is that it is almost impossible to accept a tie made by anyone other than tie manufacturers and tie makers as they are simply not made to any kind of level of acceptance or any kind of quality close to being professionally manufactured.
One simple way of checking if your company ties or corporate ties or school ties are made to a decent level of quality is to hold the tie by the narrow end vertically. If the tie twists then there is a problem because the tie is not balanced and therefore not produced to a reasonably high standard.
A twisting tie can mean several things but most of all it means that the tie is uneven, out of sync. Perhaps it hasn’t been sewn in the centre to one side, perhaps there is a difference in the lining on one side of the tie to the other, perhaps the tip is uneven on either side.
Any of these issues and several others can be the cause of just a twisting tie.
Then there is the issue of the lining, it cannot be too thick or the tie will not tie properly and it cannot be too this or the tie will be weightless.
The above discussion happens more with school ties than it does with corporate ties or company ties, the reason being that many school ties are made in sub standard production conditions using ill trained or qualified people who do not understand the make up of a tie.
It also happens because cost is extremely important to most schools and the people buying the ties, these days, most people are battling to keep up and so would much rather pay less than more for school ties.
The problem with this stance is that it will perhaps save a little in the beginning but ultimately will end up costing more when the tie conks out and has to be replaced.
It is common knowledge when it comes to school ties that they are not exactly treaed with the greatest of respect, often used as a choking mechanism between friends and enemies and abused beyond belief.
It is also the victim of absolute cruelty when it comes to boredom in the classroom and finding a way to off set the longest day ever experienced listening to some one droning on and on about something of absolutely no interest or consequence to the pupil in question.
How many times can a tie be rolled up, how long can school ties be stretched before the stitching starts to go and how long can school ties dodge their guts being ripped out by one or other inquisitve student who wants to see what gives school tie some body.
